Hey, I’m Norma -

Your Go-To Therapist

Therapy isn’t just a job for me—it’s my passion. I’m here to create a space where you can show up as you are, no filters, no judgment. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need someone to talk to, we’ll work through it together.

Professional Background

With over 15 years of experience in the mental health and social services fields, I bring a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and practical expertise to my work as a therapist. My journey to becoming a licensed therapist has been shaped by diverse experiences, from supporting individuals in residential services to working directly with children and families facing life’s most challenging circumstances. Throughout my career, I have been deeply committed to fostering growth, healing, and empowerment for those I serve.

My professional path began in social services, where I worked with individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, providing case management, crisis intervention, and support in navigating complex systems. Over the years, I developed a deep understanding of the mental and emotional struggles that can arise from life transitions, trauma, and systemic barriers. This experience sparked my desire to pursue therapy as a career, driven by the desire to help others process and heal from their struggles in a more profound, individualized way.

In 2023, I made the decision to open my private practice, combining my years of experience in social services, my passion for mental health, and my commitment to offering compassionate, personalized care. My practice focuses on providing a safe, supportive space for individuals and families to address a wide range of challenges, including trauma, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. I work with clients to create tailored treatment plans that empower them to navigate their emotional landscapes, heal from past wounds, and create lasting change in their lives.

My background in working with children, families, and individuals in crisis has given me a unique perspective on the importance of understanding and addressing the root causes of distress. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client, always working collaboratively to foster growth, build resilience, and encourage healing. As a bilingual therapist, I also have the ability to connect with a diverse range of clients and provide

culturally sensitive care that acknowledges and respects their backgrounds.

My Approach to Therapy

  • No stiff formalities—just real conversations. My approach is practical, down-to-earth, and shaped around what works best for you.

  • Life isn’t always easy—I know that firsthand. That’s why I became a therapist: to help people find balance, clarity, and confidence.

  • Lifting weights became my therapy after losing my mom. Whether in the gym or in session, I believe in finding strength wherever we can.
